Street Style: Italian Prints and Patterns.

A collection of photos featuring printed and patterned clothing and accessories from the streets of Florence, Italy. Taken Spring/Summer 2014.

Being British, florals are one of my favourite types of print. I’ve heard people talking about Hawaiian florals and monochrome daisy prints being popular this summer. In Florence, it seemed the most popular type of floral was rainforest/tropical floral.

I noticed a lot of use of printed canvas totes as handbags (something that I do regularly). I particularly enjoyed this girl’s Klimt print tote, which was being used as a handbag. It’s a lightweight bag for travelling, has a large capacity, adds personality to a plain outfit and what I like most of all: It’s a beautiful, modern way to display art.

Other popular looks included pattern clashing and leopard prints.
